It has been so hot out I don't even want to venture out to the pool. I will though, I stopped to the library and picked up Death by Cashmere by Sally Goldenbaum and a couple of mags.
Yesterday I grabbed four of my white pillowcases, I had 8 of the same style, and dyed them pink to match the pillows and duvet cover on my bed.
Then it was off to the craft studio where I cut lace strips and glued them onto the edges of my bookshelf.
I brought my lunch in the craft studio and looked around and decided I wanted to cover a plain looking stool
I dug in my fabric draw and came out with some pretty floral fabric, and grabbed a bag of poly-fill and created this:
Then I looked around and decided the computer chair needed covering also:
There was no sewing involved. I grabbed some allen wrenches and undid the legs, laid the stool seat upside down on the fabric and cut a circle leaving enough extra to staple onto the bottom of the stool. The computer chair was a little harder as I could not figure out how to unscrew the bottom so I laid the fabric, over the chair and brought just enough of the fabric underneath to staple it. Now I had I went to the next side and did the same thing. When I got to side three I stapled that side down and cut off the excess and did the same for side four. For the back I will sew two pieces together on three sides and just slip it over the top, I think I might add some elastic on the bottom.
Hugs!!!
Namaste!!!!
