I just want to say it is horrible how family reacts when someone dies and it comes to money...
Sorry I haven't been here a while but things have been crazy around here. One thing attributing to the craziness is that I landed a freelancer job with our county paper. It is wonderful that he knows about my disability and is willing to work around it. Also my greenness. I am new to the way he writes and the way he wants his newspaper to focus. I did was a town correspondent for another small newspaper in NY many years ago but the Alamance News looks at things differently. Here is a great example; the NY paper would want; Fleischmanns Fire Department responded to a structure fire on Main Street Monday at 7 p.m. There was one minor injury that did not require hospitalization. However, the building was a loss. Here it would be; One minor injury was reported at house fire on so-and-so street. Graham Fire Department responded to a house fire that was already engulfed in flames... My editor Tom, has been wonderful in guiding me, especially when it comes to town meetings as I am green beyond green when it comes to that. I had three articles I wrote last month that needed major revisions, HA! but I caught on this month and the two articles I wrote were good to go except some minor punctuation changes.
Now on to knitting... I have been busy knitting away and just about to finish up the February Lady Sweater. I'll be taking it along with me to the fling. Fling you ask. Yes finally after a very long wait The Loopy Ewe Spring Fling will be starting tomorrow in St. Louis. I have been signed up and paid for a few months now and have been anxiously awaiting the day. WOOHOO!!! It is almost here. I leave you with a picture of the wonderful swap package my Fling partner Mel sent me.
Namaste!!!!

Congrats!!!!! I'm jealous about the St. Louis thing, but I think I'll choose to get over it. :D. Can't wait to see the FLS. That's in my queue. Love it. I'm sure yours has turned out beautifully!
