Sorry everyone!! It sure has been a while since I've posted.
Not a lot new in Carolina blue land. I haven't been idle though as my hands have been knitting away.
Here are some of the projects I've been working on.
These are mittens for my DH. He wore through the fingerless ones I made a few years back. I decided to try something different and make a pair of mitts that folded over. I looked & looked for a pattern I liked to no avail, went to Hillsborough Yarn Shop to look through all Anne's patterns and still nada. Anne looked at me and said 'Cat, you can easily design them yourself.' Hey you know what I sure can, so I bought some Elle Rae wool yarn, sat down with Elizabeth Zimmerman's mitered mitt pattern and started uninventing. He loves them, but next time I will do somethings a little differently.
This pattern is Stonewall by Ann Hanson. I am doing it as a KAL with the YummyNumma group on Rav. The yarn is Numma Numma Special Edition laceweight in Midnight. The stole is a very easy pattern repeat which I am just about done with; however, since I want it longer and I still have a lot of yarn left as you can see in the picture, I am going to keep going. The KAL doesn't end until the end of March so I have time.
This is February Lady Sweater that I started but I have put this aside for now. I will probably finish it during the Ravolympics.
There is more but it will wait for another day, in the meantime.
If you are interested in joining the Ravolympics for Team Hillsborough Yarn Shop on Ravelry go to Hillsborough Yarn Shop group and you will see a thread for the Ravolympics.
We have also started a guild and I'll have more information in my next post.
Hugs!!!
Namaste!!!

Your convertible mitts are very cool. I like your design. I bet your husband will love them! Love your scarf. Very nice stitch pattern. Your sweater looks great. All in all everything looks wonderful :)
