I wanted to get this out early for everyone to see and be able to make plans. Our next meeting will be March 9th at the Mebane Arts & Community Center from 6-8. Bring a dish to pass.
We haven't decided if we are going to become a guild or be a club and this among other things will be discussed. As time gets closer I'll post our agenda, I do know that Anne from Hillsborough Yarn Shop will demonstrate intarsia knitting.
Here are some pictures of knitting that has either passed over my needles or are still WIPs.
This is a pattern my Amy King called Fake Isle Hat. It was a fun knit but not sure why Fake Isle, you are using two colors to knit with and it is stranded.
This is the Fan Jacket from Japanese Inspired Knits. I have the two sleeves done, and the back is just about finished so I'll probably be casting on for the front tonight. This is an ongoing class at Hillsborough Yarn Shop and I believe the last class is this Sunday. It is a fun knit and look forward to finishing it.
For those in the Ravelympics, don't forget this Friday at 9 is opening ceremonies and cast-on YEAH!!!
Hugs!!!
Namaste!!!

When I first looked at your hat...I thought it was a decorated cake! You did a super job, beautiful :)
