I finished up another sock and am working on the second one. I really am enjoying this yarn, it is Colinette's Jitterbug in Kingfisher.
I cannot wait to put them on.
This Saturday the I Love K and C alongs is going to start a Bolero KAL. No particular pattern just everyone knitting along with each other. I will be doing a DROPS Garnstudio bolero and someone else, Tina, will be doing another pattern by them. This all started because I have been wanting to knit a shrug or something to wear in the evenings when I am in jammies with short sleeves. I was scouring patterns and found a few, and then my great-aunt called and said she wanted me to knit a bolero for her. Well let me tell you, she is 93 years old and I cannot deny her wish so all efforts went into finding the right pattern for her in a color she requested. She wanted something darker than cream, like a light coffee, so I found KnitPicks Andean Silk in Cinnamon. I ordered the yarn on Friday and by Friday night they sent an email that it had been shipped, this morning it was in Greensboro so it should be here tomorrow. YAHOO!!! I am stoked to get started on this.
We also will be doing a Clapotis KAL, we just need to figure out a date for that one. I have been dying to knit this and have been searching for yarn to use. Now that the group wants to do this pattern I will definitely join in.
My prayers go out to all our Australian friends. I need to get in touch with Princess Clarabelle and see if she is okay, I am really worried about them all.
Hugs!!!
Namaste!!!!

Oh dear. I am almost upset I came over here. D (the soon to be 14yo) would prob. have more mouth surgery for socks in that yarn. AND being the shop.yarn aholic that I am, I may have to oblige!
Thanks for all of your great bread tips. I used to have a bread maker. I killed it. OR Dh's desire for very dense rye bread did! We'll see how it goes playing around with it this way. If I'm still interested around summertime, I may have to reinvest!
