I have no clue where I stuck the darn thing.
I've been busy today. I organized my craft room some more. We added another bookshelf, so now I have one bookshelf with my yarn baskets, and another one with some books, materials and some scrapbooking things. I need one more, and the shelves in the closet and then it will be all done. Every single sewing implement, buttons, pins etc., is now organized and put away and the clear storage boxes are all labeled with what is in them. Oh I need to rehang my pictures, as now my board that holds my threads, is where they were hanging. Oh yeah I bought a curtain rod and DH hung it on the board so now the decorative (I'm not really sure what it is) painting on canvas is hung up in front of the board to hide it. I'll take a picture of it when I find my dang cord. It is a painting that I received when I got all the sewing stuff from Roy and someone had put round curtain hangers on it. I thought it would be great in front of the threads to hide it, maybe that is what Roy did with it also.
Dinner was yummy tonight - I made a fish soup, very easy - saute some onions and garlic, add a can of diced tomatoes, 1.5 cups of Chicken stock, 3/4 C. mixed vegetables, a dash of cayenne pepper, 1/4 tsp. of dill, 1/8 tsp of fish seasoning (Old Bay works nice), 2 bay leaves, and 6 oz. of a sturdy fish like halibut or talipia. Heat until everything is hot. I then made salmon and zucchini cakes, and cheddar biscuits drizzled with garlic butter. Oops almost forgot I also made a salad and since I had a lot of salmon left over from the cakes I added some to the salad and the rest to the soup. I made and mixed everything this afternoon, I let the soup simmer all day, and when hubby walked in the door I only had to make the patties and put them in the fry pan and put the biscuits on a cookie sheet and bake. The biscuits only need to bake for 10 minutes and the salmon patties for 4 minutes each side so it really worked out nicely.
Now I'm tired and going to do some knitting as I'm trying to get my PIF knitting done.
