Well hubby picked up the Brother SE370 sewing and embroider machine today. Not sure why as we were going to head over to Greensboro to Randy's quilt shop to see what he had. Two different friends of ours recommended going there, Terry (Hi Hon!!!) and Ann, that my hubby works with. What possessed him to get it today I have no clue but I'm not arguing.
I so love this machine. It has a ton of stitches = 67 stitches, 90 some stitch functions (can anyone explain this to me, I still haven't figured it out), and 70 built-in embroidery designs. If I buy an attachment I can download designs from the internet and it also takes a card. I made a sampler tea towel of all the stitches that use the J foot. I then put on a heart and inside C & D. Hmmm hubby's is a K, like he said, who is D LOLOL. I guess I was preoccupied because I didn't want the & but a small heart and couldn't get it small enough, then I was just going to put Davies' and I guess the D from that stuck in my head LOL. I also had it embroider a dove with plant in it's beak but I only used one color and I'm sure it would look a lot better with different colors. I'm not buying embroider thread as I have a ton of thread still from Roy & Jerry and this thread worked fine when it was embroidering. I do have a picture but unfortunately I again misplaced the dang camera cord. Dang I should not have left my SD card in NY, but I do have another one in my camera case, which I can't find right now either. It is always hanging on the back of my bedroom door and now it's not there. LOL See Hakucho I'm not really organized ;-)
Well I am falling asleep sitting here YEAH!!! Maybe that means I'll go to sleep tonight. I sure hope so.
Tomorrow I'm heading to JoAnn's as I need to get some silver cloth, as I want to make a couple of silverware holders for my ancestral silver.
