Well I'm finally settled in and ready to get back into my routine.
I'll tell you how my vacation started out and then you can imagine from that how it went LOL.
I booked my train a month ahead of time and I was never told a thing, usually they tell me that a station is unmanned and there is no luggage service available. Fast forward to a month later - we get to the Raleigh station and she asks me if I have any luggage. I tell her I have two to check and one carry-on - okay give me break LOL I'm to be gone for four weeks, I need my knitting and books LOL. She then informs me that Trenton is not a manned station so there is no luggage service. Great now what - so I decide to have my luggage go to Newark, since it will be in an enclosed room and locked up. So this means that Mom and I will have to leave even earlier than planned, so she can make her appointment in NY on time.
I then saw my niece graduate from sixth grade into seventh, and another niece graduate from high school as the valedictorian. I was a very proud aunt watching her walk up time after time for all the scholarships she received.
I also got to spend time with my mother-in-law, Alice. We went together for the high school graduation and then we went for a nice lunch and country side drive. I also spent time with each of my sister-in-laws.
My sister was a real sweetheart and she came over every day in the morning to either stay for the day, if I didn't have anything planned, or just in the morning for our cup of coffee and chat. It was nice, real nice.
