Tomorrow morning is the big day. I am so excited - I am like that Disney kid in the commercials "I'm too excited to sleep." Tomorrow I meet Mary Ann from Three Waters Farms and others and we head to Louisburg, NC for Masters Spinners Class Level I given my Olde College's satellite program started. I think the instructor is Ellen Munro who inaugurated the first US Master Spinners class in Davis Oklahoma or Sherry Healey, an Oklahoma spinner who organized the US program. So Red Dirt Knitter is there a 7 degree connection here? LOL
I have no clue why I am still sitting here, I need to put all my class supplies in a big bag and get my spinning wheel in a pillowcase for travelling. In the morning I'll grab a quick bite of yogurt and fruit, but I'll pack some apples and water to take with me for snacks.
Exercise and diet program are on a roll. I walked/ran almost 3 miles today. I need to remember not to do this when the sun is shining full blast on the track. It shined on my the whole way there and back also, too hot for me - that's why I was shy of 3 miles. But hey I walked 4 mph!!! Is that good?? LOL Watched what I ate and put the calories into Calorie-Counter.
I also had to battle the FUCKING dogs (can you tell I was pissed). I called Animal Control on them about a month ago and found out through them, that quite a few of my neighbors have complained. AC ended up coming and taking their pets. It's sad, but it is sadder if one of them bites a kid or gets hit by a car on the main road. Well someone replenished, and now there are two that chase cars, all the way off our private road and down the main, busy road. They kept coming after me, with nasty barks and growl. They snuck (sp?) up behind me when I hit the main road, good thing my intuition was working and I sensed them just in time. Needless to say I carry mace with me.
OMG OMG Sprite just called me :-) I feel like I've talked with a celebrity. Hi Sprite!!! It was soooo nice talking to you. Love you hon!!!
