I need to ask a question and I am being serious on this. I am not trying to be a wise ass or anything of the sort. I really want to know the answer to this and would appreciate you emailing me your responses (I am even going to move my email link to the top to make it easier for you).
I read a lot of blogs and talk to a lot of people and I would say the majority of the people that I have spoken with are not GW fans and quite a few literally hate him. Which is fine with me, I am not a fan of his either and everytime I see his smug face I cringe even more. A lot of these people have no problem stating GW policy as if it is fact, and sound like they have done their job in listening to world views. Well GW's recent Address the Nation was on and I noticed that a lot of these people did not watch, I have also noticed throughout the last two years or so they have not bothered to watch or listen to anything GW has said.
Now for my questions:
Have you listened and watched him early on (now be real honest)?
if No then where did you get your information regarding his politics?
If you have never listened to him and have relied on other sources what sources did/do you rely on?
After you hear certain things do you research to make sure it is true or do you just take it for face value?
I need to know these things because the people who I admire and who have constantly bashed GW have not listened to him in a long time and I want to know where they get their information from. I am the type of person that if I don't know for sure I won't discuss it, but if I have kept up with both sides of the issue then I will most definitely be vocal. I also do not hesitate to tell anyone who has not voted to shut up when it comes to being dissatisfied with anything political; local, regional, state, or nationally. I feel if you have not voted your conscience, if you have not kept up with rival issues then what gives you the right to bitch. If you went out there and voted and voted based on your issues then go ahead bitch, but also get involved and write your senator, congressperson or whoever you need, but don't just sit their and bitch about it. Nothing will ever be done. Could you imagine if MLK just sat in his place and bitched, how much longer would it have taken for things to be done.
I also have a habit of NOT passing on political emails without doing the research. If I do pass it on without researching the issues I will make a statement at the beginning that I have't had time to research this but passing it on anyway, so I don't know if it true or not.
I really don't want to discuss politics on this blog as it makes for very strange bedfellows and extremely unhappy people and I really don't want a cat fight on this blog. But I just had to ask....
I was going to post some pics but smart me left my camera out and its batteries are dead. Once that charges I will take some pics.
Well we finally went to Lowe's yesterday and I actually decided on the colour for my dining room walls. Now mind you we started on this dining room about a year and a half ago, and I just couldn't make up my mind on the colour or what exactly I wanted to do i.e. sponge, rag, or just plain paint. So now DH has been finishing up the spackling, then onto painting, and staining the rest of the floor mouldings (we put in hardwood floors 1.5 years ago), laying them down and then the cornor mouldings. So what colour did I finally decide on, a very light sage green that will be sponged with a moss green.
