Okay I am bad I do not know if New Zealand is also considered 'the land down under.' I received the sweetest email yesterday from N.Z. She gave me her blog addy and a wonderful pattern that is her Mom's, for "Gumboot Socks." Well the moment I opened her blog and saw the byline about coffee being good I knew we would hit it off. Then I read her profile and her interests are so much like mine. I have to so agree with her remark "I can picture it now: coffee poured, knitting needles clicking and chatting to our hearts content about scrapping," and converting non-knitters, sounds like something we need to do in the very near future.
Now back to news on Bright; she is still hanging in there. We still have her in the big crate so she doesn't hurt herself, but she is still not walking. Chantilly is in her crate resting and she'll be in there for 3 - 4 days, until her stitches heal. It seems she just had a very bad reaction to the sutures last time and one spot never healed from it. They took care of it and used different sutures. So far everything looks good and we have been able to keep her calm and not jumping and running around. She has been very good in her crate she only whined a little bit last night when we went to bed. She is so use to sleeping with us in bed. Soon.
